The Fifth Annual NYSOMA Scholarship: NYSOMA is again awarding a scholarship to a present or former participant of Odyssey of the Mind in New York State to be used by the recipient for Post Secondary education. We are very excited to again have an opportunity to provide some assistance in helping an Odyssey individual continue their schooling. This year we are planning on awarding at least one $500 scholarship at the State Tournament, April 4, 2009. If you are a current college freshman or high school senior planning on a post-secondary education, please take a moment and download the application below. All the details are included in the application. Application submission date is February 1, 2009 for the current season. The application must be postmarked by February 1, 2009 to be eligible for consideration for this year.
