How to Register for Disney Give a Day, Get a Day

Odyssey of the Mind is part of the 'Give a Day, Get a Day' program. If you are interested in getting a pass for a day at one of the parks or donating a day to another organization, you need to register with them, prior to volunteering There are black out dates, and a few restrictions, but basically, it's a pretty good deal!

1. Go to the Disney website http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/disneyparks/en_US/index?name=HomePage If this does not work, just search for Disney. and click 'start' on their first page. Click on "Give a Day, Get a Day" at the top. You then click on 'Search & Sign up, Step 1.This on the right hand side of the page, about a quarter of the way down the page beside a flashing video.
2. Put in zip code 14450 (Nysoma’s legal address) and select Education & Technology.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and find the following link:"Click here for information for HandsOn Network partner organizations you can contact that will have additional qualifying opportunities"
4. We are first on the list as "New York OM Association, Inc." You click on that and it takes you through the sign-up process.
5. Use the regional tournament address for the address of the event (Go Here if you are unsure of your tournament location address).
6. In description of opportunity write: Serve as problem judge for Odyssey Regional Tournament on <The date of the tournament>

At the end of registering you are sent a confirmation.
