From Downstate New York: Take the New York State Thruway to Exit 16 (Harriman) and follow Route 17 West to Exit 70 South (Route 201). Then follow Route 201 and the SUNY signs to Route 434 East. The main entrance to the campus is your first right. Approximate driving time from Manhattan is 4.5 hours.
From the Albany-Oneonta area: Take I-88 West to I-81 South. Then follow Route 17 West to Exit 70 South (Route 201). Then follow Route 201 and the SUNY signs to Route 434 East. The main entrance to the campus is your first right. Approximate driving time from Albany is 2.5 hours.
From west of Binghamton: Follow Route 17 East to Exit 70 South (Route 201). Then follow Route 201 and the SUNY signs to Route 434 East. The main entrance to the campus is your first right. Approximate driving time from Rochester is 3 hours, from Buffalo 4.5 hours.
From north of Binghamton: Take I-81 South to Route 17 West. Take Route 17 West to Exit 70 South (Route 201). Then follow Route 201 and the SUNY signs to Route 434 East. The main entrance to the campus is your first right. Approximate driving time from Syracuse is 1.5 hours.
Officials: From the Ramada Inn and Conference Center (formerly the Binghamton Regency Hotel) to the Campus: From the parking lot of the hotel turn right onto Hawley Street. Proceed through the first traffic light and turn right onto State Street. Continue on State St staying in the middle lane as you go over the bridge. Follow the signs for the Vestal Parkway (rte 434), pass the Vestal Plaza shopping center on the left and continue approximately 1/2 mile to the campus on your left.
